Contract Management
Contract Management brings your MSAs, NDAs, and proof-of-concept agreements into FastYoke — authored from reusable templates, sent for signature, and tracked through a full lifecycle, with counterparties signing under zero-trust access.
What you get
- Template library. Start from built-in Mutual NDA, One-Way NDA, Master
Service Agreement, and POC / Evaluation skeletons, or author your own.
Templates use
{{variable}}placeholders you fill in per contract, and are versioned — publish a template to lock it, cut a new version to change it. - Lifecycle tracking. Every contract moves through draft → review → approved → sent → executed, with an append-only history of who did what and when. Renewals and expiries are tracked with automated reminders.
- Send for e-signature. Generate the document from a template (or upload a PDF), place the signature field, and send it to your counterparty.
- Zero-trust counterparty access. Counterparties never get an account. They receive a one-time link, then verify with an access code you share out-of-band plus a one-time code emailed at signing time — so a leaked link alone can't open the document. They review and sign in the browser.
Installing
Contract Management is a Marketplace add-on. It requires the e-signature add-on (contracts are signed through the e-sign engine), and is included on Pro and higher plans; on lower plans it's available as a standalone monthly add-on. Open the Marketplace, choose Contract Management, and install — your tenant is seeded with the starter templates so you can send your first contract right away.
Uninstalling hides the feature but keeps all your data — contracts, counterparties, and templates are preserved, and re-installing restores access exactly as it was.
Sending a contract for signature
- Create the contract — pick an existing counterparty or add one inline (give it a contact email and the signer address is pre-filled later), choose a published template or Upload a PDF later, and optionally set the term, renewal, and value.
- Review and approve — Submit for review, then an approver clicks Approve. Only approved contracts can be sent.
- Send for signature — fill in the template's details, preview the rendered document, drag at least one signature field onto it, and set an access code (use Generate for a phone-friendly one). Choose how long the link stays valid (7, 14, or 30 days).
- Share the access code separately. After sending, the confirmation page shows the access code and the signing link once. The code is never in the email — pass it on by phone, in person, or in an existing thread. If the invitation email can't be delivered, the page says so and you can forward the link yourself.
While a contract is Sent you can Recall it: the counterparty's link stops working immediately and the contract returns to draft for edits. Once the counterparty signs, the contract becomes Executed and the sealed, signed PDF is available from the contract page (Download signed document). If they decline, the contract moves to Declined and you can start a new draft.
Starter templates are a starting point
The seeded templates are generic skeletons to get you moving quickly. They are not legal advice — review and adapt them (or replace them with your own counsel-approved language) before sending anything binding.
