People Directory

People Directory is a contact book for a congregation, a convention committee, or a disaster-relief program. It keeps people, the households they belong to, and the follow-ups someone still owes — a visit, a call, a letter, or a relief check-in.

It is not a sales pipeline. There are no leads, deals, quotes, or customers.

What you get

  • A standing for each person. Someone is Active, Needs a visit, Traveling, or has Stepped aside. Returning from travel, or welcoming someone back, is an ordinary step. There is no cancelled state; an administrator who must force a record uses Override, which requires a reason and is written to the audit trail.
  • Households and congregations. A person can belong to a household and to a congregation, a committee, a volunteer team, or a branch office. A group can sit under another group, and a person can report to another person.
  • The reporting line. Kingdom Support Services runs Branch Committee, then Disaster Relief Committee, then field rep, then volunteer. A convention program runs branch contact, then International Convention Committee, then Hospitality Committee, then convention committee, then department overseer, then keyman, then captain, then volunteer.
  • Follow-ups with an end. A follow-up moves from Open to Scheduled to Done. Done is the end of that follow-up. Scheduling one requires a due date.

Where it fits

Headquarters workspaces for a convention program or a disaster-relief program install People Directory in place of a commercial contact system, next to the program hub and the knowledge base. A field workspace that already tracks affected households keeps those records in Case & Household; this directory is the contact book, not the case file.
